This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it and the rights you have under UK GDPR.
Who we are

What we collect
- Contact details: name, email address, telephone number.
- Business details: trading name, addresses, website, Google Business Profile and review link.
- Uploaded files such as logos and artwork.
- Order, delivery and support records.
- Private customer feedback, category ratings and optional contact details submitted through a ReviewWise scan page.
- Consent records including date, time, policy version and user identifier.
- Limited technical data such as IP address, used for fraud prevention and security.
Private customer feedback
Feedback submitted after choosing Not Happy is made available to the relevant business owner and authorised ReviewWise administrators. Customers may submit anonymously; when they do, name, email address and telephone number are not stored with the submission.
Lawful bases
- Contract — to design, produce and deliver your order.
- Legitimate interests — service security, fraud and duplicate-application prevention.
- Consent — marketing emails and non-essential cookies. You may withdraw at any time.
- Legal obligation — accounting and tax records.
Processors we use
Hosting and database, authentication, secure file storage, transactional email, payment processing for postage, and privacy-friendly analytics that only run after consent. Card details are handled by our payment provider and are never stored on this website.
Retention
Order and financial records are kept for six years to meet UK tax requirements. Marketing consent records are kept while consent is active plus two years. Uploaded artwork is kept for two years so we can reprint, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
Your rights
- Access a copy of your data.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Request deletion or restriction.
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Data portability.
- Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Data breaches
Report a suspected breach to hello@printcart.co.uk. Reportable breaches are notified to the ICO within 72 hours and to affected individuals where required.
